Dallas “haze”

After getting back into town from our Florida trip, I noticed a haze that seemed to surround Dallas. At first I thought it was my contacts because I had been sleeping on the plane, and maybe they just weren’t working yet. Then I thought it was fog. Nope. That “haze” is pollution. Yummy huh? It’s kind of sickening when you are driving down the road and you can’t clearly see a building but a few blocks ahead due to pollution. The nasty look of it all is just the start of how truly gross it is. You can feel it in the air. You can’t breath right. You come home and wash your face, and it feels like a film is on it. Well, I am now finally able to somewhat use my nose again for that thing called breathing, a wonderful thing I haven’t been able to do lately because I’m allergic to this “haze”. We’ve finally had some wind and rain to disperse it along the countryside. Maybe we need to be a little more kind to our environment.
