Job Search Continues

My temp assignment that I’m on right now ends at the end of October, so I’m already starting to look for a new job. I hate having to go through this. I would be just fine doing temp work if we could afford me not working steadily. Really, if I just go job to job that would work to but you can never count on the money it generates. I was hoping to get a perm job here, but there was someone internal that applied and of course got it. I went on an interview last week for something, and was told that I am the leading candidate, but that he’s continuing to interview! I don’t get it! In the interview he pretty much told me that I was *TOO* smart and *TOO* pretty! So due to the fact that I was too darn good he’s still interviewing.. even though the pay, responsibilities, hours, and location all work great for me. It’s SOOO frustrating. This is not the first time that I’ve been too smart and pretty for a job. I mean how stupid is that?! I need to be some fat nasty slob who can’t count to 3 and then I’ll have a job! woohoo! *rolls around in dirt*
