That said, and in the spirit of my constant giving him a hard time, I have highjacked his webpage! Since it is on my server, I thought, “What the heck, not like he will ever do anything with it.” So, it is now mine! (Insert evil laugh here). Maybe he will see what you can do with a spiffy domain, but maybe not. Either way, it is better than a dumn “Coming Soon” site that will never change.

All this talk lately about being “Green” is just crazy. Why did it have to become trendy in order for everyone to start being at least a little environmentally conscious? We all live here, there are finite amounts of everything ranging from corn to water to cows. In fact, the only thing that seems to be fairly infinite is the ability of the human species to breed and take over more resources.

Nature, by definition, lives in balance with itself. It understands supply and demand better than Wall Street. If there is a lot of rain, the antelope are abundant, and then there are more lions until the populations stabilize, or another factor comes in like a grass fire that kills off a lot of food for the antelope, then the lions starve and their population dwindles. It’s a whole Circle of Life type of thing. There are only two organisms on Earth that do not really follow this law: humans and viruses. Both reproduce out of balance with their surroundings and are willing and capable of destroying their very habitat (and eventually themselves).

Jess and I have always been pretty “green”, because, we respect Mother Nature, and so should you:

Due to my recent injury and subsequent free time, I am VERY bored. I work a lot, just because of nothing else to do at 3a, but still, that gets old, especially since I don’t want to be a programmer/techie, I happen to love the team development aspects of management.

Well, as my team can attest, I have been pretty grouchy, mostly due to the snails pace at which my treatment is moving, but also the boredom. My father, did suggest to try and play a game he and I loved from back in the day of when computers had turbo buttons and DOS was the bomb. He was right (man that hurt to admit), and it was (is) a great game and a lot of fun. So, off I ran to download Red Storm Rising. Since it is an old DOS game, I also had to get a DOS Emulator called DOS Box. You can download both from this post, as I don’t think it is fair for you to have to jump through a bunch of stupid hoops on some of those download sites just to get it, so feel free to download them here instead. If you are also so inclined, it is a great book too.

Well, it’s a popular name for a cat. Missy moo is Oober Yuckems ‘ not so secret admirer. Somewhere along the lines we ended up buying a bib from Australia (fyi-delivery by sea takes 2-3 months! we opted for air). We found some cute onesies (Link Removed on Remote Site) for identical twins, and the true meaning of missy moo.

gotta love the net

I love kids in hats. From day one I’ve had Illianna in a hat. Unfortunately she’s figured out how to take her hat off, and thinks it’s a trick. Now I’m having to wear hats as well because if she sees me in a hat then she’ll leave hers on.

Yesterday it wasn’t too hot, there was a slight breeze, and a few clouds remained in the sky from a storm that passed through the night before, so we decided to go on a walk. I got us all loaded up, which was a feat of it’s own because once the dogs see their collars come out they start going crazy, and we were just about to head off, when Missy Moo looked up at me with an evil smirk and pulled her hat right off. I only have one hat, which after recently falling into the pool I found out was made of paper (I didn’t know you could make a *real* hat from paper.), so I was in a bit of a predicament. Fortunately I saw one of Ryan’s baseball caps in the entry. It did the trick, and she kept her hat on most of the walk. Of course she wanted to try on Dada’s hat at well.
